Dear Friend,
The importance of church fellowship is outlined for us in the word of God.
1 John 1:7 reminds us: “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
And what type of fellowship does our Lord recommend? We read in Acts 2:47: “Praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”
And so the Eureka Seventh-day Adventist Church family welcomes you and your family to the fellowship of the church! Regardless of our background, despite our sins, Jesus himself reminds us, “Come unto me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28).
If we wait until we have arrived at our idea of perfection, we will never come to him, but if we come as the old hymn describes, “Just as I am, without one plea, but that thy blood was shed for me,” then we place ourselves within the fellowship of others with similar life goals.
The church family waits to encourage you, to share experiences of loss, of victory in Jesus, and the love of an eternal God who still reaches out for you. The last chapter of scripture reminds us: “And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come,” and let him who hears say “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whosoever desires, let him take of the water of life freely.” (Revelation 22: 17).
And so this church supports the invitation of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Won’t you come and fellowship with us beginning this Sabbath at the Eureka Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 4251 F Street, just above the golf course. We have programs for all ages. You, your spouse, your children, your friends, are all invited, to share in the love and care of this church family!
Sincerely, Eureka Seventh-day Adventist Church
